Diana Bijl worked until recently as an Expert Sterile Medical Devices in a large university hospital. She gained a lot of experience in cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of medical devices.

She acquired her knowledge about sterilization and sterility in divers national and international boards, committees and working parties. She is:
· president of the Dutch Association of Experts Sterile Medical Devices (VDSMH)
· board member of the World Forum Hospital Sterile Supply (WFHSS)
· vice chair of the Dutch Normalization Institute (NEN) Nom committee Sterilization
and Sterility
· permanent advisor Dutch Working Party (WIP)
